Sardine Dip

- 2, 3 oz + cans of plain sardines- drain off liquid and discard. shopping list
- Use boneless and skinless if desired shopping list
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard or to taste shopping list
- hot sauce to taste ( I used a few splashes ) shopping list
- 2 Tbs mayonnaise or to taste shopping list
- 1 tsp prepared horseradish- I had sweet beet horseradish but add a bit of sugar if your your horseradish is not sweet. shopping list
- fresh cracked black pepper to taste shopping list
- crackers, cocktail bread, etc. to serve with shopping list
How to make it
- Place drained sardines in a small bowl;
- Add all other ingredients and mash mixture well with a fork
- Adjust seasonings to taste
- Place in a small serving bowl along with crackers, etc
- Yield: small cup or so
- Note: the red beet horseradish added some color to this recpe

Added 1/2 tsp "Sriacha" brand hot chili sauce" to spice it up and Wow!!schubo52 in North Chicago loved it
