    Give it a whirl! Your choices sound flavorful! My mother-in-law (now in heaven) used these kinds of recipes for Brunch entertaining . I think I would roughly tear the bread and float it in the eggy/milk liquid in the 9 X 13 inch dish. Kinda like a quiche. I don't even think you need the bacon. I'd bump up the spices. Top with fresh tomato slices or??
