Easy BBQ Chip Chop Ham

This is my favorite. It is cooking right now and the house smells so good.It is easy to make. Great for party or groups. My Dad belong to some gun clubs when I was a kid. This is what my mom made and sold in the club house. Read more The guys would eat it for three day skipping the hamburgs offered. She kept it in a crock pot then fried it in a cast iron skillet.You can also freeze part of it.Warning this is a sloppy sandwich.But the longer it cooks the more it carmelizes.Yummm! See less
Ingredients
- three 10-3/4 oz. cans tomato soup shopping list
- 1 small bottle worchester sauce shopping list
- 1 cup light brown sugar shopping list
- 2 medium onions shopping list
- 2 stalks celery shopping list
- 1 can tomato sauce shopping list
- 3 pounds chipped Chopped ham (the cheap greasey stuff) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine first six ingredients.Simmer until onions and celery are cooked.Add chipped chopped ham getting sauce between slices. Simmer in cooker for one hour. Serve on buns.
- ( the cheap chip chop ham will cook down the fat flavors the sauce.So don't go fancy.)
