How to make it

  • I used a round pirex casserole dish about 8 inches across. Spray oil in pan. set a side
  • In a bowl mix the cake mix 4 cocoa packets, eggs, water, and oil. Beat 2 minutes. then pour into the pan.
  • in a small bowl add the coconut, sugar, and pecans mix well and sprinkle over the cake.
  • Bake for 20 minutes or until done in a 325 degrees oven.

    This tasted good but it sure didn't turn out pretty. My batter grew up and over the topping I had spread clear to the edges. Mine also stuck to the pan. I used cooking spray and an 8" square pan and mine took more like 40 minutes instead of 20. It did taste good though. I added some pictures and more in IMI on 8/17/14.
