Beer Batter Fried Zucchini Sticks

- oil to fry shopping list
- 1 12 oz can beer shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. paprika shopping list
- flour to dredge shopping list
- 2 large zucchinis, sliced in half crosswise then lengthwise into 1/2 inch sticks shopping list
- salt shopping list
How to make it
- In dutch oven, heat oil to 350-375
- Preheat oven to 225
- Add beer to mixing bowl
- Sift flour, salt and paprika
- Add to beer, whisking until smooth
- Dredge zucchini sticks in flour
- Cover in batter
- In batches, fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side
- With spider, remove from oil to cooling rack that's been placed over a baking pan
- Sprinkle with salt
- Place baking pan in warmed oven in between batches to keep hot
