Stephanie's Slow Cooker Stew

- 1 lb beef stew meat shopping list
- 2 med. potatoes,peeled and cubed shopping list
- 1 can(14-1/2 oz) beef broth shopping list
- 1 can(11-1/2 oz)V8 juice shopping list
- 2 celery ribs,chopped shopping list
- 2 med carrots,chopped shopping list
- 1 med sweet onion,chopped shopping list
- 3 bay leaves shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme shopping list
- 1/2 tsp chili powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp pepper shopping list
- 2 TB cornstarch shopping list
- 1 TB cold water shopping list
- 1/2 c frozen corn shopping list
- 1/2 c frozen peas shopping list
How to make it
- In a 3 qt. slow cooker,combine the first 12 ingredients. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or till meat is tender..Discard bayleaves.
- In small bowl,combine cornstarch and water until smooth;stir into stew. Add corn and peas.
- Cover and cook on high for 30 mins or till thickened.
