Beef With Bamboo Shoots And Onions

- 6 oz beef, sliced shopping list
- 8 spring onions, 1/3 of the green part removed, sliced on the bias shopping list
- 6 oz sliced bamboo shoots shopping list
- 1 large clove of garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 piece of ginger about the size of a tablespoon, minced shopping list
- 1/2 Tbsp peanut oil shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 1.5 Tbsp Lee Kum Kee Premium oyster sauce shopping list
- 1 Tbsp rice wine shopping list
- 1 tsp dark soy sauce shopping list
- 1/2 tsp sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp cornstarch shopping list
- 1 tsp sesame oil shopping list
How to make it
- Combine sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Heat the wok over high heat until smoking hot, add the oil and a pinch of salt.
- Add the beef and spread out in one layer. Let it lay in the pan for a minute to take on some color. Add the ginger, garlic and spring onions and stir fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the bamboo shoots and stir-fry until they are hot.
- Add the sauce mixture and stir-fry until it thickens. (If it is too think add 2 Tbsp water to thin the sauce.)
- Serve with Jasmin rice.
