Lamb Neck Casserole

- 6 slices lamb neck about 3/4 inch thick shopping list
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ginger powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon mild curry powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon ground tumeric shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cumin shopping list
- 1 beef stock cube shopping list
- 4 tablespoons tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups water shopping list
- 2 tablespoons cornflour shopping list
How to make it
- 1 In a pot on a medium to high heat, add a little oil and brown the meat slices.
- 2 While they are browning, mix together all of the rest of the ingredients except the cornflour and pour into the pot with the browned meat.
- 3 Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to medium low and allow to simmer with a lid on for 1 1/2 hours.
- 4 Now mix the cornflour with a little water and mix into the liquid and allow to simmer for a few minutes more until the sauce thickens.

- Serve with yellow rice, your favorite veggies steamed and tossed in butter.
