How to make it

  • 1 In a pot on a medium to high heat, add a little oil and brown the meat slices.
  • 2 While they are browning, mix together all of the rest of the ingredients except the cornflour and pour into the pot with the browned meat.
  • 3 Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to medium low and allow to simmer with a lid on for 1 1/2 hours.
  • 4 Now mix the cornflour with a little water and mix into the liquid and allow to simmer for a few minutes more until the sauce thickens.
  • Done….
  • Serve with yellow rice, your favorite veggies steamed and tossed in butter.
