Patty Cake

An easy dessert with subtle cream cheese flavor. Not sweet at all, even with 3 3/4 cups confectioners sugar in the recipe. Next time I make, I will add lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix, without pudding shopping list
- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 stick butter, softened shopping list
- 16 ounces (about 3 3/4 cups) confectioners sugar shopping list
- 8 ounces cream cheese softened shopping list
How to make it
- Pre-heat oven to 350.
- Grease & flour a 9 X 13-inch baking pan.
- Combine the cake mix, butter, and 1 egg and beat until smooth. Press this mixture into the bottom of the baking pan.
- Combine the confectioners sugar (I always sift), 2 eggs, and cream cheese. Beat until all the sugar and cream cheese have been incorporated into the batter. Pour this mixture over the cake mix bottom.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes.
