Creamy Cavatini

- 12 oz penne pasta shopping list
- 1 c. cottage cheese shopping list
- 2 oz less fat cream cheese shopping list
- palmful dried parsley shopping list
- 2 c. spaghetti sauce (I used a leftover meat and mushroom sauce) shopping list
- 2 c. low moisture shredded mozzarella shopping list
- 3 oz sliced pepperoni, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cook pasta according to directions until al dente.
- Meanwhile, in a large bowl, mix cottage cheese, cream cheese and parsley until well combined. Add spaghetti sauce and mix well.
- Drain and rinse pasta, add to sauce mixture and toss. See Photo
- Lightly spray an 11x7 glass pan and spoon pasta mixture into it. Sprinkle with 1 1/2 c. cheese, then pepperoni See Photo. Bake for 20 mins.
- Remove from oven, set oven to broil. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c. cheese and broil until bubbly, about 2-3 minutes. See Photo

Made it tonight for the family. Used Turkey pepperoni and low fat cheese. Very good!

This was a big hit in my house! I used about 2 1/2 cups of sauce and left out the parsley as I didn't have any on hand. I plan to make it again this Sunday evening for my beau's niece & nephew, I think they'll love it. Thanks!
