Bacon-wrapped Boned And Stuffed Turkey Thighs

- I sweet red pepper, peeled, seeded and juliened shopping list
- 1 sweet yellow pepper, peeled. seeded and juliened shopping list
- 1 sweet onion juliened shopping list
- 1 table spoon olive oil shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic.crushed shopping list
- 6 strips hickory smoked bacon shopping list
- 2 large turkey thighs, skinned and boned shopping list
- gruyere cheese to your taste shopping list
- 4 thin slices smoked ham shopping list
- ground pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Pre-heat oven to 325 deg.
- Saute peppers garlic and onions lightly in a small amount of olive oil
- Bone turkey thighs (sharp boning knife on cutting board)
- Remove and discard skin and place thighs on a platter
- On your cutting board place 2 strips bacon, one turkey thigh pressed down on top of bacon
- Add in center, gruyere cheese, and ham and drained pepper, onion, garlic mixture
- Holding ends of bacon strips in one hand start to roll until the bacon ends meet and place toothpicks to hold
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Place in roasting pan
- Roast for 45 minutes
- Turn broiler on for 5 minutes watching carefully.
