Heavenly Cranberry Sauce Recipe

How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Wash and sort cranberries.
  • In a shallow baking dish, combine all ingredients.
  • Cover tightly and bake for 45 minutes.
  • Yield: 8 cups

    I LOVE Cranberry sauce and I always make homemade. I'm the only one who eats it, tho out of my entire family. Joe likes the canned stuff...yuck !

    This recipe is so fabulous, wonderful, delicious, etc. and truly is heavenly!! A friend who is a chef gave me the recipe, and it is a family favorite at Christmas. We like it cold on sandwiches. A small jar of it really makes a nice gift.

    Homemade is soooooo much better than store... We use it year round, goes great with grilling. This one is a keeper Zena.. you really are thinking Holidays here today! Keep posting!

    You're starting to think "holidays" aren't you, Zena?!? A sign in our neighborhood says "Only 21 more weeks til Christmas" - gotta love that twisted sense of humor! This cranberry sauce sounds delish...never tried making my own, but I think I will this year - yours sounds so much better than just some stuff outta the can!!
