Amaretto Mascarpone Creme

- 500 g (about 2 cups) mascarpone cheese shopping list
- 250 g (about 1 cup) heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 3 TBS amaretto liqueur shopping list
- 1 cup Italian Amaretto biscuits (cookies), crushed shopping list
How to make it
- Crush the amaretto biscuits in a large Ziplock bag with a rolling pin until finely crumbled, but not to powder.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Mascarpone, whipping cream, sugar and Amaretto.
- Beat on low speed until combined and then on high speed until very thick.
- In a glass bowl, layer crumbs and cream, finishing with a few crumbs on top for decoration.
- Chill well, at least 3 hours, before serving.
- Can also be frozen; in that case, remove from freezer 15 minutes before serving.
