Cheesy Smoked Haddock Pasta Dish

- 400 g Smoked haddock shopping list
- 600 ml milk shopping list
- 100 ml Grated Cheddar shopping list
- 40 ml butter shopping list
- 40 ml flour shopping list
- 500g cooked tagliatelle pasta (or shells, even penne pasta will work fine) shopping list
- small bunch of parsley finely choppped shopping list
How to make it
- Place haddock in a saucepan and add 250ml of the milk. Cover to simmer for 10 minutes or untill fish is cooked.
- Remove the fish from the milk and flake it. Reserve the milk that you cooked the fish in for the sauce.
- Melt butter in a saucepan and add the flour, whisk quickly untill smooth. Whisk about a minute over heat and add reserved milk plus the remaining 350ml milk a little at a time while whisking well after each addition.
- Return to the heat and bring to boil. Simmer for 7-10 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
- Remove and stir in the cheese, add the cooked pasta and flaked haddock and mix together.
- Serve warm
