Having had kidney stones for years ( calcium oxalate stones ) I have to drink lots of fluids and have certain diet restrictions plus follow up xrays and ultra sounds, urine testing etc. After searching and researching the Net I heard so much about lemons ( note not oranges or limes ) and after I came accross a You Tube video about dissolving calcium based kidney stones, I am trying this very early tomorrow morning. My Uro Md always told me to put lemon in my drinking water. So when I saw this I went out and bought the lemons. I will report back to you after my experience and repeat ultrasound. Note: lemon juice is not good for teeth enamel, so rinse your mouth well after drinking the lemon juice and then brush your teeth. Also you will discover when drinking the lemon juice potion and then drinking water you will taste a sweet sensation. Neither is unpleasant. This information is here for your perusal . Ingredients
- 20 fresh lemons or enough to produce 20 ounces shopping list
- of strained lemon juice shopping list
- water shopping list
How to make it
- My note: warm lemons in the micro for more juice extraction.
- Thin skin lemons have more juice than thick skinned ones.
- Measure out 8 oz of lemon juice
- Drink up the juice
- Rinse mouth well /brush teeth
- Other people's comments:: some say to sip juice from a straw , others add some baking soda in the mouth rinse water to neutralize the acid
- So after drinking the initial pure 8 oz of lemon juice:1 hour later drink an 8 oz glass of water with 1 oz of the strained lemon juice
- Repeat drinking the water with 1 oz of lemon juice for a total of 12 hours
- One may eat if they wish, others consider this liquid diet for a kidney cleansing day.
- Hopefully this will dissolve many of the stones, making them easier to pass as many people did have success with this method
