Chuckie's Chili

- 1 lb. lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 large onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 14 oz. can pork and beans (Libby's Beans in tomato sauce is my favourite!) shopping list
- 1 7 1/2 oz. can tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 28 oz. can tomatoes (don't add the juice) shopping list
- 3/4 green pepper, chopped fine shopping list
- 3 rounded tsp. chili powder shopping list
- 2 rounded tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- salt and fresh ground pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Crumble up the ground beef and mix with chopped onion and chopped green pepper in a large pot on the stove. Cook and stir until no pink remains in the hamburger.Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring often. Cut up or mash the tomatoes to separate. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered to let the flavours meld. If the mixture looks too thick, thin it with a bit of the left-over juice from the can of the tomatoes. Serve with nice warm rolls or crusty bread!

Heat's almost too steep for me. Would use 33% less next time.
Edit: Just figured out I used T's instead of t's on the spice measurements. Sorry 'bout the lowered rating. Maybe it could have been a 5 if I followed the recipe more closely. Can't ...morepointsevenout in Athens loved it
