Mom's Lobster Thermidor

- Meat from 1 lb lobster or a can of frozen lobster meat(12 oz) shopping list
- 2 TB butter shopping list
- 1/2 c mushrooms,finely chopped shopping list
- 2 TB flour shopping list
- 2 tsp English dry mustard shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- few grains cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1-1/2 c cream shopping list
- parmesan cheese,grated shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter,blend in flour. Gradually add cream,stirring till it boils. Boil 2 mins.
- Add mustard,salt and cayenne,add lobster and mushrooms .Mix well. Put in individual au gratin dishes or 1 larger dish.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and put under broiler to brown the cheese. I always serve with oven fries and peas.
- If using whole lobsters,can be put back in shells to serve.I also slice the mushrooms sometimes insted of using them chopped.
