I loved smoked fish and often get a craving for smoked whitefish I buy the fish already smoked at the gourmet store, carefully remove the bones and make a whitefish salad. Ingredients
- 1 large already smoked whitefish shopping list
- Quality mayonnaise shopping list
- chopped celery shopping list
- chopped red onion shopping list
- pepper to taste shopping list
- Garnish, loemon slices, tomatoes shopping list
How to make it
- Carefully peel away the skin from the fish.
- Grab one end of the bone skeleton and carefully pull off, removing any excess bones on the fish
- In a food processor chop the celery and the onion finely
- Add the whitefish meat
- Pulse to chop fish to the consistency you like
- Add enough mayo to make creamy
- stir in fresh grated pepper to taste
- Pack the salad in the fish.
- Garnish as desired.
- Serve with crackers, cocktail bread etc
