Cocktail Meatballs

- 1 lb. ground beef shopping list
- 2 tbsp. bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 egg, slightly beaten shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 3/4 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 3/4 of a large green pepper, chopped shopping list
- 2 tbsp. margarine shopping list
- 1 can (10 oz.) condensed campbell's tomato soup shopping list
- 2 tbsp. brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tbsp. vinegar shopping list
- 1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 tsp. prepared mustard shopping list
- a few dashes of hot pepper sauce to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Mix beef, bread crumbs, egg and salt. Shape into little meatballs, approximately the size of a quarter.
- Place in a non-stick fry pan and cook until nicely browned, turning often. Spoon off fat.
- Meanwhile, in saucepan, cook onion and green pepper in margarine until tender.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Pour over meatballs.
- Cover and bake at 350F for 30 minutes.

Oh yum, these were so delicious! We had these as a main dish over rice. Doubled up on the recipe and glad I did, the leftovers were just as good :) Added a review in the IMI II Group ----------> more
