Lady Finger Cheesecake

I've had this recipe for over 20 years. My sister-in-law gave me the recipe and I've made over and over again. I vary the toppings with different fruit.
Ingredients

- 3 (3 ounce) packages ladyfingers shopping list
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, shopping list
- softened shopping list
- 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, shopping list
- softened shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream shopping list
- 1 (21 ounce) can cherry pie filling shopping list

How to make it
- :
- 1. Place ladyfingers on the bottom and around the edge of a 9 inch spring-form pan.
- 2. In a medium bowl, whip cream until peaks form.
- 3. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Gently fold in the whipped cream.
- 4. Spoon 1/2 of cream cheese mixture into spring-form pan; cover with a layer of lady fingers and add remaining cream cheese mixture.
- 5. Layer remaining ladyfingers and top with fruit pie filling. Chill before serving.
