Liberian Rice Bread No 1

- 2 cups cream of rice (cereal) shopping list
- 3 cups mashed bananas shopping list
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil shopping list
- 4 tbs sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- Version No. 2 shopping list
- 2 cups cream of rice (cereal) shopping list
- 4 tbs sugar shopping list
- 4 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 2 cups mashed bananas shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup oil shopping list
How to make it
- In a 4-quart bowl, combine cream of rice, bananas, oil, sugar, nutmeg, salt, water and baking soda. Stir until thoroughly blended. Bake in a well greased 8 x 12-inch rectangular or 9-inch round cake pan at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve.
- Version No 2.
- In a 4-quart bowl, combine cream of rice, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in bananas, eggs, milk, and oil. Bake in a well-greased 8 x 12-inch rectangular or 9-inch round cake pan at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve.
