Spicy Lime Grilled Prawns

- 16 large tiger prawns or shrimp shopping list
- 1-1/3 limes shopping list
- 1-1/3 green chile peppers,seeded and chopped shopping list
- 1-1/3 cloves garlic,crushed shopping list
- 1/3(2") piece fresh ginger root,chopped shopping list
- 1/3 med. onion,coarsely chopped shopping list
- skewers shopping list
How to make it
- Place prawns and lime zest in a large,non-metallic bowl. Place lime juice ,chile pepper,garlic,ginger and onion in food processor or blender and process until smooth. You may need to add a little oil ti facilitate blending. Pour over bowl of prawns and stir to coat. Cover,refrigerate 4 hours.
- Preheat grill for med-high heat. Thread prawns onto skewers,piercing each first through the tail and then the head.
- Brush grill grate with oil. Cook prawns 5 mins.,turning once or till opaque.
