Pasta Lacombe

- 1 pound crawfish tails shopping list
- 1 lb peeled headless shrimp shopping list
- 1 can crushed tomatoes shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1 8 oz. container soft cream cheese with chives shopping list
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 8 oz. sour cream shopping list
- 1 bag frozen seasoning mix(onions, celery, and bell peppers) shopping list
- 2 cans chicken broth shopping list
- 8 oz. shredded pepperjack cheese shopping list
- 4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- Creole spice to taste shopping list
- 1 pint half and half(more if too thick) shopping list
- sliced green onions, if desired for garnish shopping list
- 8 oz. parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 1/2 pounds cooked pasta(spaghetti or fettuccine but any type of pasta will do) shopping list
How to make it
- In large pot, saute seasoning in butter until lightly browned(about 3 minutes) over medium heat
- Stir in crawfish and shrimp and cook for 3 to 4 minutes
- Stir in broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and cook 4 to 5 minutes over med/low heat
- Stir in soup, cream cheese, sour cream, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, pepperjack cheese and half and half.
- Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper and creole spice to taste.
- Continue cooking over low heat for an additional 5 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Place cooked pasta In large casserole dish or large baking pan
- Pour sauce over pasta and sprinkle with Parmesan Cheese and green onions,
- Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
- Serve with hot fresh French Bread, Salad and extra Parmesan cheese on the side.
