How to make it
- Turn on some Michael Buble
- Combine crushed croutons with milk and wine. Wait 5 minutes.
- Add grated garlic, grated cheese, oregano, chopped parsley, salt pepper and egg.
- Add beef and sausage.
- Mix together with wooden spoon until consistent, don't over work.
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Cover, let mixture rest for 20 minutes on counter. May let rest for up to 24 hours in fridge if more convenient. But mixture must reach room temperature before roasting.
- Wash hands with cold water prior to handling mixture to reduce sticking.
- Create 1.5 inch diameter balls, and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Turn on broiler. From this stage you must watch meatballs carefully.
- You want to pull them out as soon as the meatballs are no longer pink inside.
- Enjoy!
