Tomato Juice de Samoa and other places

- • 1 12oz (340g) can good quality tomato past. shopping list
- • 1 tsp salt. shopping list
- • 1 tsp sugar (optional) shopping list
- • ½ tsp fine ground pepper (optional) shopping list
- • 3 ½ - 4 ½ cans of cold water, depending on how thick you like your juice. Start with 3.5 cans and add water till its “your” juice. shopping list
- • 1 Tbs lemon juice (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Put all this stuff in a 5 ltr (about 5.5 qt) mixing bowl.
- 2. Get out your trusty whisk and give the lot a brisk hiding. (Yes, you can use a blender but it will put a lot of air in the mix). You want to mix it thoroughly but not beat a lot of air into it.
- 3. Refrigerate soonest.
- This should give you about 1.5 ltrs of primo, “My Way” tomato juice. Add a little vodka, some Tabasco sauce, etc. and celebrate your success.

LOL... I'm learning a lot about the "rest of the story" reading your stuff. Being in the US is a blessing many of us never understand. We think it is a "given". Canned, frozen, packaged, blocked, shredded, etc... somehow we think it is universal. ...more
