- 2 Lb. Stewed beef Meat shopping list
- 1 beef boullion cube shopping list
- 1 (30 oz) Jar Nopales shopping list
- 1 white onion-Minced shopping list
- 3 Galic cloves-Minced shopping list
- 1 Bay Leaf shopping list
- 1 teaspoon chile de arbol powder shopping list
- 1 pinch mexican oregano shopping list
- 1 Can Tomato paste shopping list
- 2 teaspoons oil shopping list
- 2 Tblspns. corn Starch shopping list
- water shopping list
How to make it
- 1.Chop stewed beef into smaller peices (about 1/4"). In a pot place stewed beef, beef boullion cube, bay leaf, and water. Boil meat until tender about 1-1/2 hours. Add water as needed, you want water covering meat at all times.
- 2.Saute galic and onion in oil. After meat is tender add onion, garlic, chile powder, oregano, nopales (make sure nopales are drained and rinsed) and tomato paste to meat and water. Mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup warm water, slowly add into meat mixture while stirring. Let simmer about 30 minutes, sauce should thicken.
- 3.Serve with rice, re-fry beans, and tortillas or tostados.
