- 1 tablespoon Paula Deen House seasoning (errrr, I just use Mrs. Dash, don't tell Paula, LOL) shopping list
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce shopping list
- 3 bay leaves shopping list
- 2 tablespoons italian seasoning shopping list
- 1 28oz can ea diced tomatoes and tomato sauce shopping list
- 3 cup water shopping list
- 3 tblsp minced garlic shopping list
- 2 large onion, chopped shopping list
- 2 lbs lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt shopping list
- 2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked shopping list
How to make it
- In a Dutch oven, brown the ground beef and break up the meat into bite size pieces, drain off grease.
- Add the onions and garlic and cook about 5 minutes.
- Add water, along with the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, soy sauce, House Seasoning (or substitute), and seasoned salt. Stir well.
- Place a lid on the pot and allow this to cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Add the elbow macaroni, stir well, return the lid to the pot, and simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Turn off the heat, remove the bay leaves, and allow the mixture to sit about 30 minutes more before serving.
