Fresh Amish Apple Cake

This is my mother-in-law's recipe. Simple and very good. Great for dessert or breakfast - like a coffe cake.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
In a mixing bowl- mix oil, eggs, milk, vanilla and sugar.
Then add the rest of the ingredients, and mix by hand until smooth.
Pour batter into greased baking dish, and then bake for 50-60 minutes.
Use a toothpick, and stick it in the center of the cake. If it comes out clean, the cake is finished.
Serve warm topped with homemade whipped cream.

Sure thing! The apple isn't over-powering, and along with the spices - it's really good. My husband, who is not a dessert guy, even likes it!
