Haitian Pikliz Hot Pickled Veggies

- 10 scotch bonnet peppers shopping list
- 2 cups thinly sliced cabbage shopping list
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots shopping list
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced onions shopping list
- 4 whole cloves shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 3 cups vinegar shopping list
- ½ cup lemon juice shopping list
- 1 Quart size jar shopping list
How to make it
- Cut each pepper into 4 pieces, and keep the seeds
- Place hot peppers, cabbage, carrots, onion, cloves, and salt in a quart size jar
- Then add vinegar. & lime juice
- Close jar tightly and let sit at least 24-48 hours before serving. (The longer it sits, the hotter (spicier) it will be.
- Serve with meat or fish
