Dak Golden Egg Bread

- 1 pk yeast shopping list
- 3 c flour - I use all purpose shopping list
- 4 tb sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 6 tb Vegetable oil; corn , I often use olive shopping list
- 1 1/2 ts salt shopping list
- 3/4 c Water; warm shopping list
- All Optional: shopping list
- 1/2 c Dried fruit; chopped , often use raisins shopping list
- 1/3 c Almonds; chopped shopping list
- 1/2 ts almond extract shopping list
- Egg wash: if making challah bread, mix : shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 2 tsp water shopping list
- Optional: seseme and poppy seeds shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients in the pan in the order listed and select white bread; push start
- When making this into Challah, remove from the breadmaker after the manual mode stops; let rise; braid and put an egg wash over the challah.
- Then bake in a 350 degree oven until a light toasty brown.
- Sprinkle on some type of seeds (sesame or poppy) after the egg wash. :
- Note: if you own another type of bread machine add ingredients according to manufacturer's instructions
- One may either have to add a bit more flour or water to get the proper machine dough consistency
