Dads crockpot chili no tomato

- 1/2 lb. ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 lb. pork sausage shopping list
- 1 large onion (diced) shopping list
- 1 large green pepper (diced) shopping list
- 2 Tbls. ground chili powder shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 2 beef bullion cubes shopping list
- 3 15oz. cans pinto beans (undrained) shopping list
- 3 15oz. cans great northern beans (undrained) shopping list
- 1 Level Tbls. cornstarch mixed in 1/2 cup water shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In a large crockpot combine beans,bullion cubes, water, onions, green peppers,chili powder.
- Fry ground beef and pork sausage and drain off fat.
- Add meat to bean mixture and cook on high for 6 hours
- Reduce heat to low for an additional 2 hours
- Turn off and let cool for about 15 minutes then stir in cornstarch and water mix
- Set aside to cool then refrigerate overnight.
- Can be eaten right away but I find its much better when reheated the next day.
